 Hiring Guidelines
Allied Limousine has a strict set of hiring guidelines that no only insure the safest possible drivers, but also as a by-product, a very customer service, detail oriented staff with a extremely low turnover rate.

Each candidate is required to complete a customized, 3-page application. Candidates must have the following to be considered;

  • Ten years driving experience (in or out of the livery industry).
  • No accidents or tickets in the past 5 years.
  • No DUI ever.
  • No suspensions ever.

Our ideal candidates possess professional experience, professional demeanor and/or military experience along with a strong sense of direction and knowledge of the highways and roads in the area.

Most drivers are interviewed twice before training begins and additional background checks may be conducted.

Training
Allied Limousine has developed a comprehensive in house training course that thoroughly covers not only corporate and customer policies, but also safe driving and emergency procedures. All of Allied's driving staff is trained three ways; by locations they will service (NYC, Philadelphia,  Northern New Jersey, Etc), services they will provide (corporate transport, weddings, proms, etc.) and the type of equipment (sedans, limousine, Suburbans or vans) they will operate.

During training, the new hire is constantly evaluated on such items as braking, turning, lane changes, signaling, appropriate speed and other critical areas that directly impact the safe operation of the vehicle. Any driver trainee, who, in the opinion of the training driver, continuously fails to operate the vehicle in a safe manor, will be dismissed.

Safety Guidelines
Reinforcement of safety techniques is ongoing through memo's, safety videos, routine safety bulletins and periodic, one on one, meetings with drivers.

In addition to our ongoing safety efforts, a strong set of Operations Policies have been implemented to provide the safest possible environment for passengers and staff.

Operations Policies - Guidelines (examples)

  • No split shifts.
