Busiest times: Terminal 1: 2 p.m.- 5 p.m. Terminals 2 and 3: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Terminal 4: 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Terminal 5: 6 a.m. – 8 a.m. Terminal 7: 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. Terminal 8: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Workarounds: Each terminal at JFK is a stand-alone entity. Terminal 4 has “split checkpoints.” The A and B concourses have separate checkpoints.
